Huizen aan de kust hebben vaak iets magisch. Ze zijn niet alleen gebouwd om weer en wind te weerstaan, maar stralen ook een gevoel van luxe uit. Soms lijken ze – als een groep pinguïns – dicht tegen elkaar aan te schuilen, en soms juist – heel demonstratief en trots – als een bastion alleen de wind te trotseren.

Coastal houses often have something magical about them. Not only are they built to withstand wind and weather, but they also radiate a sense of luxury. At times, they seem to huddle together like a group of penguins, seeking shelter; at other times, they stand proudly and defiantly – like a lone bastion – braving the wind on their own.
